Surrounding Area
Our area Agii Apostoli, is a seaside resort of unique natural beauty, located west of Chania city. The name of Agii Apostoli comes from the chapel of the Holy Apostles located up on the top of a hill, offering a beautiful panoramic view across the region.
In this chapel, during summer many weddings take place by locals as well as by foreign visitors.
Agii Apostoli is one of the most popular area of Chania, consisting of three peninsulas with wonderful sandy beaches with shallow waters which are not affected by the winds & have been awarded the Blue Flag. The beaches are well organized, with lifeguard, canteens at the sea front as well as facilities for sunbathing, sun beds & umbrellas, water sports, beach volley and racket games. Here, you will find a large pine trees park, available for exercising sports, biking, running etc. Visitors can find here restaurants, pizza, tavernas with traditional delicacies, bars, supermarkets, automatic teller machines, pharmacies, & tourist shops.
Other popular & well organized beaches near by Yakinthos hotel from 2 to 9 km: such as Stalos, Agia Marina and Platanias can be reached by local buses, bus stop is a few steps away from our door.
